Group Employer Profile: How do I add, edit and delete practices?

Learn how to edit your group, practice and location profiles, and manage profiles for multiple practices.

Key things to know about employer profiles:

  • Group employers have a hierarchy, with one group -> multiple practices -> one or more location within each practice.

  • Every practice has at least 1 or more locations. You can edit each one separately.

  • Each one of your practice's profiles are visible to all job seekers in Hound's practice directory, so it's a good chance to stand out.

  • Your personal employer profile is edited separately here.

Editing your group profile

1. Click on your profile image or initials in the top right corner to open the hamburger menu, then click on group settings.

2. On your group page, click the edit button.

3. Edit your group logo, name, website and other details here. Click Save when you're done.

Adding a new practice and location(s)

4. Scroll down to the bottom of your group settings page, then click the Add button beside the Practices label.

5. Fill in your practice name, website and other details and click Next to add locations. Every practice must have one or more locations - if your practice is a single-location practice, enter the same information for both.


6. On the next page, add your location details. Your location's photos will be automatically displayed in all your job and relief shift postings, so it's a good opportunity to show off your practice from the outside, inside, and even staff photos.

7. On the last page, you can add practice-level users (unlike group-level users, these users can only access the specific practice they are added to) or skip this next. Click Finish to save everything.

8. Your practice is now added to your group settings page. Click on the practice card to see more details, all associated location(s), and any practice-level users.

Editing a practice or location(s)

9. To edit a practice, simply click on the practice card from your group settings page, then click the edit button beside the name. You can also preview how your practice profile appears to job seekers by clicking the Preview button.

10. To edit locations within a practice, click on the practice first, then hover over the location and click the pencil icon.

Deleting a practice or location(s)

11. To delete a practice, go to your group settings page and simply hover your mouse over the practice. A red trash can icon will appear - click on this to delete. You will see a confirmation pop up, click Delete to permanently delete this practice and all associated locations. Note: this action is permanent and cannot be undone. All associated jobs, shifts, locations and users will be deleted.

12. To delete a location within a practice, please contact us at hey@hound.vet or chat with us by clicking on your profile photo or initials in the top right corner > Support > Chat with us.
