After you've boosted a job on Hound, you can just set it and forget it! Boosted jobs now automatically renew every 30 days at the discounted rate until paused, giving you more visibility of your job listing and attracting more qualified candidates.
In this help center article, we'll walk you through how auto-renewals work to keep your hiring efforts going strong.
Automatic renewals every 30 days
Boosted jobs will automatically renew every 30 days from the initial boost date. For example, if you boosted a job on January 15, it will automatically be renewed and billed on the following dates:
February 14
March 16 (March 15 in leap years)
April 15, and so on
Pause automatic renewals anytime
After you've boosted a job, you can pause it anytime by clicking the "pause" button on the job card. Clicking "pause" means the boost will NOT automatically renew on the renewal date, and will instead expire 30 days after the initial boost date.
The expiration date will be shown in the confirmation step, allowing you to cancel or confirm pausing the boost.
Paused boosts will expire
Once a boosted job is paused, it will expire 30 days after the initial boost date, or 30 days after each subsequent auto-renewal date. Once a boosted job expires, there will be no more boost charges for that job. NOTE: after a boosted job expires, it can no longer be renewed.
Renew a paused boost before it expires
Once a boosted job is paused, you can renew the boost anytime before it expires - 30 days after the initial boost date, or 30 days after each subsequent auto-renewal date. Renewals are always billed at the discounted rate. After a boosted job expires, it can no longer be renewed.
π Renewals are always discounted - $300 for each additional 30 days for DVM roles and $100 for each additional 30 days for non-DVM roles
Same great benefits at every renewal
boosting a job goes beyond just increasing visibility. It offers a comprehensive hiring experience by unlocking nationwide matching and targeted recruitment features to help with active sourcing.
