What is a Boop?
In the Rally community, a boop is an endearing term derived from the action of gently touching a pup's nose. It represents a gesture of recognition and appreciation for a job well done. With Rally's Boop Board, you can extend this sentiment to your fellow team members, creating a positive and uplifting environment.
Using the Boop Board:
Access the Boop Board: Once you're logged into Rally, navigate to the Boop Board, which is displayed as a heart or shaped like a pup's nose.
Exploring Boops: On the Boop Board, you can review all the boops shared within your organization. Apply filters by date, explore who has given the most boops, and immerse yourself in the culture of appreciation.
Sending a Boop: To celebrate someone or express gratitude, simply click on the "Boop" button. Choose the person you want to recognize, select a relevant tag, and share a message of appreciation. It's an opportunity to highlight their accomplishments and acknowledge their hard work.
Types of Boops:
Boops can be exchanged across various professional relationships, including:
Peer-to-Peer: Recognize and appreciate your colleagues for their contributions and support.
Peer-to-Manager: Express your gratitude to your manager for their guidance and leadership.
Manager-to-Peer: Managers can show appreciation to their team members for their outstanding efforts.
Manager-to-Manager: Acknowledge the collaboration and support provided by your fellow managers.
Rewards (if enabled):
If rewards are enabled within your organization, you can also gift points to your peers or managers as a form of recognition. Accumulated points can be redeemed for rewards once a certain threshold is reached.
