If you want to limit what information employers can see from your profile, you can simply toggle your profile to 'Not Searching' this will still allow recruiters to reach out to you on the platform, but will limit the information they can see. Alternatively, you can hide your profile altogether to restrict employers from seeing your profile and interactions completely.
By default on hound, employers can not see any of your contact details. Only your first name and last name is displayed to employers who are paying.
Setting your profile to 'Not Searching' doesn't completely remove you from employer search, but does add some signals to employers that you're not actively searching, but as mentioned they can still send your messages.
Click on your profile image or initials in the top right corner, then click Profile.
From your profile page, click the pencil icon to edit your profile.
You can remove your photo by selecting the red "x" button on your photo.
Under your photo, toggle off the Actively searching setting. This will be denoted when employers search, and you won't be included in actively searching filters.
Click the Save button when you're done, and you’re now a bit more incognito!
