Your free starter profile on Hound includes unlimited location profiles, unlimited relief shift posts, and unlimited free shift applicant chats. You only pay for successfully booked shifts.

Sign up
If you don't already have a log in, you can sign up for free at hound.vet/employers.
2. Scroll down until you see relief posts, then click the post relief button to create your account and get your first shift posted.
Verify your email
3. Fill out registration form with your information, then click the sign up button to move to the next step in creating an account on Hound. You'll be emailed a code to verify your email before you can continue.
4. After clicking the link in your verification email or entering the code, you'll be asked to add payment details and set up your account. Your card will not be charged when signing up or posting a shift. It will only be charged the shift booking fee when a shift is actually booked.
Set up your practice profile
5. Next, you'll create a practice profile where all your shifts and jobs will be posted under. Add your logo, hospital website and tell the job seeker about your hospital. You can also choose up to 5 practice values. Click next to move to the next page. Don't worry, you can always edit this information later.
6. Next, you'll fill out more details about your hospital and it's location. Don't worry, you can always edit this information later. Click next to move to the next step of creating your relief shift.
Post your relief shift
7. Use the location dropdown menu to choose your practice location. This will pull pictures and information from your practice page into your shift posting.
8. Click position and choose who you need to hire for this relief shift.
9. Since you're just creating your account, you won't have any saved templates, but you can save this shift as a template after filling out all of the details. Templates help you save time when posting future shifts.
10. Fill out the shift posting form with your shift details and scroll down to add more information.
11. Based on the hours you need covered and the pay offered, you'll see some calculations here. Remember, the card on file won't be charged until you book a relief professional, and will only be charged the shift booking fee shown. The expected worker pay is what you are expect to pay the worker for picking up this relief shift. You pay them off platform for their services. Learn more about our shift booking process here.
12. When you're ready to post your shift, click preview and post.
13. Preview your shift to see how it will appear to relief professionals on our platform. Click the post button to publish the shift.
Manage your shifts and view applicants
14. Once your shift is posted, it will live under your shifts page, where you can view, edit or cancel your shift. Under edit, you can also save it as a template.
15. When someone views or applies to your shift, you will see their profile on your connections page. You'll be notified about these connections by email, and can view notifications on your notifications page.
16. On your connection page, you can narrow down your connections by clicking shifts to see those viewing and applying to your shifts.
Manage shift templates
17. On your practice page, you'll find your saved shift templates and can make new ones as well. As mentioned, you can click edit on your posted shift to save it as a template. This is where it will be.
