If you want to limit what information employers can see from your profile, you can simply toggle your profile to 'Not Searching' this will still allow recruiters to reach out to you on the platform, but will limit the information they can see. Only displaying your first name. Alternatively, you can hide your profile altogether to restrict employers from seeing your profile and interactions completely.
By default on hound, employers can not see any of your contact details. Only your first name and last name is displayed to employers who are paying.
Setting your profile to 'Not Searching' doesn't completely remove you from employer search, but does add some signals to employers that you're not actively searching, but as mentioned they can still send your messages.
To enter stealth mode:
From your dashboard, click on the menu in the top right and select “my profile.”
On the green, left side bar, select the “edit” button.
On the edit page, click on the "about" button at the top of the page.
First, remove your picture by selecting the red "x" button beside your picture.
Then, next to your picture, switch the toggle to “not searching." This will be denoted when employers search, and they'll assume you aren't actively searching.
On the green, left side bar, hit the “save & close” or "save & preview" button, and you’re now a bit more incognito!
