Yes — you can post jobs on Hound without any subscription at the standard rate of $199/month per post. A subscription is not required to use Hound, but it does reduce your per-post cost and unlocks additional features like candidate search and boost discounts.

Both plans include candidate search, candidate messages and boosted job discounts. The key differences are:

Some early Hound customers are on a Legacy plan at $199/month (or $2,000/year). This plan includes free job posts and premium candidate search access, but does not include boost discounts. Legacy plans are no longer available to new subscribers — if you're on this plan, your pricing is locked in as long as you remain subscribed.

Note: If you cancel a Legacy plan, you cannot reinstate it at the same price. You would need to re-subscribe at current Recruiter or Recruiter Pro rates.

Hound works with certain veterinary networks and partner organizations on custom pricing. If your practice is part of a group like VMG, MWI or a Purina Collective partner, please reach out to our team to ask about available pricing for your network.
