How your subscription affects your job posts
Your Hound subscription tier determines how much you pay (if anything) to post and renew jobs. If your subscription changes or a payment fails, your active job posts may be affected at their next renewal date.
What happens to my job posts when I cancel or downgrade my subscription?
Once your subscription is downgraded/canceled, you can still access your premium features (like chatting and searching candidates) until the date of your next renewal — there are no refunds for the remaining period. Your job posts themselves will stay active until you delete them. Here's what happens at their next renewal date:
| Job posts with a subscription | Job posts without a subscription |
Recruiter subscriptions | $149/month | $199/month at next renewal date |
Recruiter Pro subscriptions | Free | $199/month at next renewal date |
Legacy (grandfathered) subscriptions | Free | $199/month at next renewal date |
Important: We recommend reviewing your active job posts before or shortly after any subscription change to avoid unexpected charges.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscription cancelations are processed by the Hound support team. To request a cancelation, please see How to downgrade your subscription from Hound Premium to Free.
