Troubleshooting User Invitations and Magic Links

If you are experiencing issues with your email invitations not signing you into Groove correctly, follow the steps below.

Groove uses magic links for all user sign-ins instead of email and password for security purposes (and so you don't have to remember yet another password!) Magic links can only be clicked once before they expire, so try requesting a new magic link from groove.vet/signin if your current link isn't working.

If you haven't tried accepting your email invite yet

First try clicking the Sign In & Get Started button in your invite email. This should take you directly to your Groove dashboard page. If that doesn't work, trying the following:

  1. Enter your email address, click Send Magic Link, check your email and click the Sign In button in your sign in email. (This is the standard sign in flow and will be how you sign in every time going forward.)

If you've already tried accepting your email invite and failed

Sometimes your email host provider's built-in security email scanner (common in Outlook) has already consumed the one-time invite link, so clicking the Sign In & Get Started button takes you to the groove website without being able to sign in. In that case, try the following:

  1. Enter your email address, click Send Magic Link, check your email and click the Sign In button in your sign in email. (This is the standard sign in flow and will be how you sign in every time going forward.)
