As a Groover, you can always use Groove for free to help you manage your relief shifts scheduling, invoicing, payment and communications with practices you work with. You can sign up on your own and invite your practices, or practices might invite you to sign up on Groove.
STEP 1A: ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT (IF SIGNING UP ON YOUR OWN)
Go to the sign up page and select "I'm a relief veterinarian". After confirming your email, you'll land on an activation screen while your account is being reviewed.
Once a Groove administrator grants you access, you'll receive an email and can sign back in by entering your email, then clicking on the magic link in the email.
STEP 1B: ACCEPT YOUR GROOVE INVITATION (IF YOU WERE INVITED BY A PRACTICE)
If you were invited to Groove, you should have received an email invitation from noreply@groove.vet that mentions that practice(s) you were invited to connect with. Click the "sign in and get started" button from the email to be signed into your new account directly.
If you are experiencing issues with signing in from the email invitation, please follow the steps here.
STEP 2: COMPLETE YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Click on your name in the lower lefthand corner of the menu bar, then click Profile. Fill in each section and click the Save Profile button in the top right corner when you're done. The Employer View box on this page shows you how your profile will appear to practices on Groove.
A complete profile helps practices understand your background and increases your chances of being booked.
STEP 3: SET YOUR AVAILABILITY IN YOUR CALENDAR
On the lefthand menu bar, click on Availability to configure your schedule:
Sharing your availability: Click on Calendar Settings on the calendar to set your calendar visibility and your recurring availability. Note, your calendar is private by default. You can select specific practices to share your calendar with.
Request dates: You can request shifts for specific dates by clicking on the "Request Dates" button just under the Availability label, then follow the flow to select practices and dates you want to send your availability to via Chat.
STEP 4: CONNECT TO PRACTICES
Practices invite you to their Groovers roster via email. When you receive an invite, click the magic link to accept and connect. Once connected, you'll see their shifts and can chat with their team.
You can also view all your connected practices by clicking on Practices on the menu bar, and invite practices you work with by clicking the Invite Practices button at the top of this page.
STEP 5: CONNECT YOUR BANK ACCOUT FOR PAYOUTS
To receive payments through Groove, click on Payments from the lefthand menu bar. On the Payments page, click Payout Account and then click Connect Bank Account and complete the onboarding.
