Employer Matching: How do I match with employers?

When first creating your profile on Hound, you fill out your preferences. These preferences (fields like pay range, hours, skills, and experience) correspond directly to fields employers must fill out when they create job postings.

Our algorithm does the magic đŸȘ„ in the background, and matches you with job postings that fit with your preferences!

To see your matches, simply sign in to your account and click on Jobs in the top menu bar. You'll automatically land on the Matches page.

To update your matches preferences, simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "get matched" green puzzle icon button at the top of the page beside the chat icon.

  2. Fill in your desired preferences for position, location, pay and relocation.

  3. Click the "get matched" button at the bottom and you'll be automatically matched! You can browse through the different types of Matches by scrolling down the Matches page.
