Candidate Matching: How do I match with candidates?

Key things to know about candidate matching:

  • Candidate matches are available after you boost a job on Hound, and are accessed from the jobs page.

  • You also have access to the candidate's full name and contact details for your top matches.

Boosting a job on Hound is a powerful way to enhance its visibility, attract top talent nationwide, and unlock advanced candidate matching. In this article, we'll discuss the costs, benefits and exactly what happens when you choose to boost your job listings. Please note that any candidate profiles in this video are fake and for demonstration purposes only.

Boost your job posting

  1. Click jobs in the navigation panel to be taken to your active jobs.

2. Click the boost button on any job posting to see pricing to boost that posting. Pricing depends on if this is a DVM job posting or a support staff job posting.

3. A 30 day DVM job boost costs $499 a month.

4. A 30 Day Support Staff job boost costs $249 a month.

Go to your matches page

5. Once you've boosted a job, you'll unlock candidate matches. Click the matches tile on your jobs page to view matches to your boosted jobs.

6. If you have more than one job boosted, you can filter by boosted job to see matches for that specific posting.

7. Top matches are your best matches. These candidates match you on position, location and pay. Click on any candidate profile to open it up and learn more about them. All candidate profiles under top matches will have contact information unlocked and viewable when you click into their tile.

8. Scroll down the page to see other ways you match with candidates. Contact information is not unlocked for these other matches, only for top matches. As you scroll, you'll see more ways you've matched with candidates including current location matching, desired relocation, and flexible relocation matches. You can message with any of these candidates with a Recruiter or Recruiter Pro subscription.

9. Click Boosted Jobs to manage and monitor all your boosted jobs.

10. Boosted jobs automatically renew every 30 days. You can pause a boost at anytime to stop it from renewing and being charged again. To do this, find the job under boosts and click pause.
