Tags help you label and organize Groovers on their profile card - things like "surgery-certified," or "preferred." Any practice, regional or group admin user can create tags and add them to a Groover's profile. Note that tags are internal for practices and groups purposes only - Groovers never see any tags assigned to their profile.
GROUP TAGS VS. PRACTICE TAGS
Tags on a Groover's profile can practice, regional and group admins organize their relief workers more easily. Once a tag has been created, you can also filter by specific tags using Filters on the Groovers page.
Practice tags on Groover profiles are created by a Practice Admin and are scoped to that single practice. Only practice admins and regional admins assigned to that practice can see the Groover's tag. Group admins can see all tags across all practices. Note that any tags created by practice admins are reusable across the group, but only the individual practice (and regional admins assigned to that practice) can see the tag on a Groover's profile.
Group tags on Groover profiles are created by a Group Admin and are scoped to your entire group, so any practice in your group can see and use them. These have a label "group tag" to differentiate from any practice-level tags. When a group tag has been added to a Groover's profile, any practice admin and regional admin connected to that Groover can see the tag.
CREATING A GROOVER TAG
From the left-hand menu bar, click on Groovers, then click on a Groover card to open their profile. Scroll down to the Custom Groover Tags section, then click "Add".
Click "Create new tag" to customize the tag. Type in the tag name, select a color, then click Create & assign.
You can now assign the tag to any Groovers by adding it on their profile. As a Group Admin, the tag you create is automatically scoped to your group rather than a single practice. Group tags are labeled Group and usable by any practice admin, regional admin and group user within the group.
FILTERING BY GROOVER TAGS
To filter by a specific tag, click the Filters button at the top of your Groovers page. On the filters dropdown, click on any tags in the Custom Groover Tags section to apply the filter instantly.
WHY USE GROUP TAGS
If you manage relief staffing across multiple locations, group tags save you from recreating the same label at every practice. For example, tagging a Groover as "float pool" once at the group level means every practice in your network sees that label, instead of each practice tagging them individually.
